Cozy puzzle games for iPhone: a short, honest list

"Cozy" gets slapped on anything with pastel colors these days. Our bar is stricter: no timers barking at you, no lives, no energy meters, no interstitials yanking you out mid-thought — a game you can play in bed without your pulse noticing. Seven that clear it:

Monument Valley (1–3)

The genre's cathedral. Impossible architecture, gentle pace, no way to fail. The puzzles are easy; the point is the walk.

Unpacking

You unpack boxes across a life's moves. Zen-like block placement that quietly tells a story — the coziest game ever made about other people's stuff.

Assemble with Care

Repair heirlooms with your hands — unscrew, clean, reassemble. Short, warm, and tactile; more meditation than challenge.

A Monster's Expedition

Log-rolling island puzzles with real depth under an absurdly gentle surface. When you're stuck, you just wander to another island. That's the design.

Railbound

Lay track so the dogs' train cars reunite. Comic-book warmth over genuinely clever routing logic; late chapters have teeth, but kind ones.

A Little to the Left

Tidying as puzzling — straighten, sort, align, while a cat undoes your work. For people whose brain purrs when the pencils line up.

We built this one, so judge the bias accordingly: you carve boards into stained-glass panes under three rules, and every solved puzzle becomes a glowing window.
